On-Site Survey is a flexible system for recording surveys of buildings on mobile computers. Instead of recording dimensions on paper using a pen, all data is directly entered on-site in a mobile computer:

  • The geometry is reproduced on-site by the entry of measured values of ground plans, room elements and interior objects.
  • The building can be documented with the help of images, spoken comments, videos and sketches.
  • Additional data which describe the equipment of buildings can be freely configured.
  • Inconsistencies in the survey on-site are directly detected and corrected – thus additional site inspections are not necessary anymore.
  • If required, existing plans can be used.
  • Leica lasers with bluetooth module allow a wireless transfer of measured values.

 

On-Site Survey is a quality assurance system for data capture:

  • Application advantage: On-Site Survey includes the recording of geometries, building conditions and additional information.
  • Increased accuracy: On-Site Survey ensures the completeness and accuracy of building data and provides traceable and verifiable results.

Hints Tablet PC

 

We recommend to exclusively use On-Site Survey on tablet pcs that can be switched to pen only operating. Desktop programs generally and specially On-Site Survey can be used more accurate and comfortable with pen operating.

On-Site Survey can’t be used on IPads, Android or Windows RT.

We are currently testing the devices Dell Latitude 10 Standard and the Samsung ATIV smart PC.

 

 

Hints Laser with Bluetooth interface

 

The following devices were successfully tested to transfer measured data via Bluetooth:

Current devices: Leica DISTO D3a BT, Leica DISTO D8

Previous devices: Leica DISTO PLUS, Leica DISTO A6

New devices: Leica DISTO D510 (currently not usable with Windows 8)

An alternative for directly establishing a link out of On-Site Survey is the program “DISTOtransferPC”. If you use this program you will suffer under comfort losses (no voice output for measured values, no automatic switching to the next input field). We inform you constantly about the actual developments.
